On behalf of Mass engineering(www.matteotti.com) we are working on the project of conservation and restoration of the consolidation intervention of the “Tre canne” barrel, in Vighizzolo d’Este.
A barrel -more appropriately “siphon barrel”- is a special hydraulic artifact that allows one watercourse to cross another by preventing their respective waters from coming into contact with each other.
The “Botte” of Vighizzolo, built in the second half of the 16th century by the Republic of Venice, is an artifact of exceptional cultural value under monumental protection.
